Haiku, Cowgirl, & Micro Poetry

I.
Aphonia afflicted, I overcome –
Voice resonates finely
Articulated truth –
Silent, incendiary expression –
My written word.

II.
Smiling eyes conceal
Moiety of battle wounds.
Can you see the scars?

III.
Give yourself to me -
The good, bad, and the ugly –
Want the whole package.

IV.
Frenetic struggle
My canvas, blood soaked Pollock
Give way, Chagall dreams.

Cowgirl Poetry ~ Haiku

V.
Weathered and leathered –
Ranchers, cowgirls born with grit
Saddle up again.

VI.
Bruised and bones broken
Bloodied noses – bring it on –
Bull riders don’t quit.

Micro Poetry on MS and Healing

I.
Pain, not the same
Unique, the mystique
To reveal how I feel
Compliments, supplements
Irony in the agony.

II.
Sunrise early this morning –
Perceptive, my skies edit
Darkness, infuse my sleepless soul
Instead with light and color.

III.
Conception to final days,
Evolve, embrace dutiful,
Yet beautiful flaws bestow -
Innate, to pollenate,
Life in bloom.
